Rental assistance programs are comprehensive service programs for households with a solvable gap. These programs usually combine financial assistance for rent and utilities with an aggressive action plan for activities that household members design with a case manager. Funding is limited, eligibility requirements apply, and participating is subject to funding availability.
Income Guidelines
Eligibility Requirements vary by available funding. Generally, due to limited funding, applicants for assistance must:
- Have a solvable gap (future ability to sustain your living expenses without assistance)
- Meet income guidelines and other requirements for available funding
- Meet HUD’s definition of homeless or at risk if not for this assistance
- Be willing to actively participate in case management.
How to Apply
Obtain request for assistance packet here, in the CinA Housing Resource Center, or by request

We are open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00a-4:00p and Friday 9:00am-12:00pm. Packets may also be dropped off in person, mailed in, or faxed to (541) 889-0768, when applicants provide call back contact information.
